Spain vs Germany 2010

I really enjoyed the World Cup Semi Final last night between Spain who are the Current Euro Champions against Germany who despite having a young team have been strong throughout the whole tournament, I almost felt I was actually there in the stadium as I my spanish friend was endlessly shouting at the television and thinking he was really the manager.

At the half time break the score was still an agonising 0-0 and during the tv adverts there was a constant push for Internet Marketing of the world cup where so much information is accessible online these days, for example if you had missed any of the previous games you were able to watch them on the internet, being able to view all the live match statistics as well as join an online forum to discuss your own thoughts and post your own comments.

As thousands of people flock to South Africa for the football World Cup we see a huge rise in economy growth and possible boost in future tourism.

Online retaillers have made good use of the internet whilst the World Cup has been on television. Making sure that there site is fully working with SEO to achieve the most custom and sales. Just think how many of those fly sounding trumpets they have sold in South Africa and over the internet. I has certainly made the vuvuzela a well known instrument!

If you are lucky enough to visit Durban I recommend you visit the newly-built Moses Mabhida football stadium, as this was one of the most impressive i saw on tv during the World Cup. My friend was visiting his parents and got to seesaw Spain play there first game against Switzerland which they were to get defeated there..

Talking to a friend after the match who works for a company who specialise in Ecommerce website design he was sure that the Netherlands were going to win the final.

Some of the football sites also have some fantastic web design too!

Why The 2010 Summer Will Be Memorable

Saturday, May 8th, 2010

After such a harsh and long winter the media are spreading some rumours that the 2010 summer will be a memorable one. All though that sounds as good news for the north European countries where tjeir populations complain of cold weather and lots of rain, reality for the Southern European countries is totally different as the temperature can rise well enough above 40 Celsius centigrades. Another thing to bear in mind about this summer is that during World Cup summers people tend to enjoy more staying at home and they travel less. It is definitely at big social event rather than a pure sports one, given the influence it has on so many people’s daily life around the world.

This is another reason that raises even higher the expectations of the forthcoming summer. It is going to be the first World Cup taking place in Africa and many sports and non-sports related people are expecting it with great anticipation. I don’t think many people would be indifferent to a pretty warm summer, where there will be many social gatherings because of the World Cup. It has been such a hard winter this year, and recession made it even heavier, therefore all Europeans are looking forward to a great summer.

A typical summer scene would include lots of friends taking their places around the TV in the garden, being absorbed by the commentator’s voice that will be coming out of those. The young ones will be all around the place, chasing each other or just playing with their outdoor toys, such as a radio controlled helicopter, while the grown ups will be pouring beer out of a beer keg chiller. It’s also good to include people who don’t like sports so much so someone can be in charge of the barbecue.

Hopefully for many, there’s no room for mistakes in the scientist’s forecasts for the summer. So lets hope everything will be as well as we expect it!
